This much anticipated book from the Scottish Ecological Design Association (SEDA) has just been launched!
We went to a very well attended launch event last night at Edinburgh University to hear some excellent presentations from Richard Atkins, Chris Morgan, Jessica Hunnisett-Snow (Historic Environment Scotland) and Sam Foster (Sam Foster Architects) that served to illustrate the breadth of work included in the publication. Far from focussing on new build architecture- the book covers many renovation and retrofit projects to improve the energy efficiency of existing buildings.
We would like to congratulate Emily Stephen, former Roots employee, for all of her hard work in bringing the publication together- we now fully understand the extent of her efforts in making the book happen!
The books are free to all SEDA members- so if you are at all interested in ecological design it is well worth joining.
For non-members books are £15 and can be purchased via the SEDA website.
